The journals are filled with dull writings and exclamations over Quidditch. Also dull. Dull, dull, dull.

I have been thinking about these journals further of late. Given that the ghastly Weasley books are absolutely eye-scarring, and the other ones are just plain dull, I am seriously considering designing some new journal covers to update the book's look in seconds. I have spoken to Aunt Pandora about it, and she thinks it would be a lovely addition to the shop. Once they are made, we are planning on pricing them to be available to a larger segment of the population than most of what we have. A taste of the upper-class standard, Twilfitt & Tatting's, that most everyone can obtain!

I will mention them again when we have them available.

This is disgraceful!

It begins with the dragons guarding Gringotts, of course, and the goblins as well. How are we expected to put our trust in these financial institutions if they are not fully protected by wizards? And while I understand that the majority of control was handed to the Ministry recently, that there is any reliance at all on non-humans is entirely inappropriate!

And the Wizarding control of Gringotts! How did no one catch the Undesirables going in? Who would dare help them? How did no one stop them coming out? Clearly there has been insufficient vetting of candidates who work there. The money of our nation should surely be protected by only those most worthy of the position!

And the damage! There was no mention of how much destruction actually occurred in Diagon Alley but if the bank façade was extensively damaged, I can only imagine that it must have been significant. My future There are some excellent retail establishments in the area, and any damage should be compensated in full, potentially from the vaults of the perpetrators.

And clearly an attack on the oldest and most pure families presents the gravest danger to all of wizarding society. I offer my condolences to those affected.

I am not afraid to speak my mind about this. These thieves and vandals MUST be stopped and thoroughly punished.

School work never seems to end. As soon as something finishes, something else picks up, and I really just don't want to do it any more.

I would say I was looking forward to Easter Break for a moment's rest, but that always seems to end up being more work rather than rest. I suppose this means I am waiting for summer. What a nightmare.

It is not supposed to rain inside.

My clothes were nearly ruined. And they were lovely clothes at that, gifts from Aunt Pandora. They cost more than you rightfully know.

No thanks to you, whatever your name was.

About time.

And I am not going back early.

15th Dec, 2009

I should like to visit Aunt Pandora. Her shop always makes me feel happy. Well, it is not only her shop, but it still is filled with beautiful clothes for beautiful people, and my Aunt Pandora is lovely.

I just need to get out of the house, I suppose. Hogwarts is not much fun, but why is home so little better?

Would anybody classy like to come shopping with me? Or simply wander around? Or do you have any other suggestions?

Oh, how quaint. Musicians. Discussing cake. And trousers.

And students discussing things they ought not.

When will people be normal?

... )

Well, while all of you are debating which team to cheer for this Saturday, which ought to have a dreadfully clear answer, I will be planning my green and silver winter ensemble for the event. The Quidditch Stands are a place to be seen, and as matches happen dreadfully irregularly, you really must make the most of the opportunity. After all, people-watching is almost as much fun as the actual game!
